The South Suburban College Bookstore is conveniently located on the first floor of the Main Campus, inside the Library (Room 1249). Operated by Follett Higher Education, the College’s official retail partner, the store offers price matching for eligible competitors, with any difference issued on a Bookstore gift card.
Follett’s pioneering rental program can save students up to 80 percent compared to purchasing new textbooks. The Bookstore is also available online, helping students navigate a wide range of learning material options. New, used, print, and digital formats are offered to meet every student’s needs.
“Inclusive Access” is a digital textbook model developed in partnership with leading publishers to lower the cost of required course materials. All students receive access on the first day of class, with the option to opt out of purchasing through the add/drop date. Discounted physical textbooks are available in the on-site Bookstore for those enrolled in Inclusive Access courses; however, these printed versions do not include the online access required for course participation. Students are encouraged to purchase a physical textbook only if it aligns with their preferred study method.
As a committed partner in education, Follett provides innovative campus retail services with dedicated support. Students can shop for more than textbooks and course materials.
